Programs for High School Girls

Chestnut Center offers faith and character formation to Catholic high school girls and others through leadership programs, summer camps, recollections, spiritual direction, one-on-one mentoring, service projects and retreats.​

  • Retreats

    Retreats at Trumbull Manor provide an opportunity to reflect on one’s everyday life in the light of basic Christian principles. An atmosphere of personal prayer and recollection is maintained during the retreat. Learn more about it here.

  • Holy Week Workshop

    A time to reflect on ourselves and prepare for celebrations for the most holy season of the year. We aim to discover the true meaning of Lent. Details of the workshop will be updated here or contact information@chestnutcenter.org.

  • Summer Camp Counselor Training

    Teen leaders are invited to serve as counselors for two summer camps - Camp Monte Stella and Discovery Hills Day Camp, provide young women with skills and education in character to effectively guide young campers. Applications open soon. Learn more about it here.

  • Lights! Camera! Action!

    Every summer, college women and high school seniors are brought together for a week-long workshop in L.A. What joins them is having a keen insight into the industry, an understanding that there’s something going on in movies, tv shows, and video games, besides entertainment.   • Camp Monte Stella

    Join us for a week of fun activities at Camp Monte Stella. Activities include water sports, arts and crafts, archery, STEM activities, hiking, giant swing, campfire, and dance.
